I was fortunate enough to find a loving home, but there are countless animals all over Toronto, let alone the world, still looking for a place to call their own. I know how it feels to sit behind bars; waiting, hoping for someone to take notice to you. It's a pretty miserable experience and I'm so thankful to be able to curl up next to Human and Derek every night.
Human has been baking Audi and I treats for the last few months and I came up with the great idea of sharing them with my fellow dogs from the Humane Society. If they can't spend this holiday season in a loving environment, the least I could do is share my favourite treats with them!
I would like to think that I helped Human bake the treats. Here, you can see me waiting for something to drop from Human's mixing bowl, me guarding the treats and making sure nothing happens to them, and me drooling over the thought of Human's dog treats. I'll admit that wasn't my proudest moment...
If you're thinking of bringing a furry friend into your life, I would strongly encourage you to look into adoption. There are tons of adoption agencies all over Toronto and the surrounding GTA. If you choose to adopt from a registered agency, we often times come spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all our shots. The Toronto Humane Society is fantastic with their adoption process. They will even give you a bag of food and leash to go home with us. All you need to do is open up your home and heart to us!
Here I am in my kennel at the Humane Society. No one is too sure of my background story, but Human believes that I was seized from a puppy mill somewhere in Quebec. I guess that makes me a French dog, oui?
Anyways, be sure to keep checking my blog. Human and I will continue to come up with ways we can help others!
